Definitely see a thyrapist. I kinda know what you're feeling, at least to some extent. It's very hard to find anything that's consistently engaging and fun and intersting at times. Having the help of a professional will help.

Emailing my sister RE: Child abuse conviction - NEED HELP!!
by What Now? inso the other night, my family was together and my dad brought up the recent child abuse conviction for the society.
big surprise, my sister hadn't heard anything about it, so of course she got right on to the jw.org website and emailed me the link to the watchtowers official statement.
this is my reply:.

The Smoking Gun in the Conti Case!
by Diest ini think this thread got lost in the shuffle, so i wanted to make another one.
these are some of the key pages from the deposition of the lead elder, michael lee clarke.
clarke admits he gets his marching orders from the wts.

It still makes me sick that they are more concerned with a poor girl supposedly "using" abuse to get things (who cares if she did?! So what? Who could blame her?!!) , than the abuse itself...Ugh. Horrible.

Was the Verdict of the Candace Conti lawsuit a Win-Win for the WTS?
by rip van winkle inwhy did the wts not try to settle this lawsuit before going to trial as they had so many times previously?
was it presumptiousness on the part of the society's lawyers and gb?
had this been settled it would have hardly caused a whimper.. it got me to thinking that although the verdict of $28 million is unheard of, it may actually further the wts to make their claims that they are the only true religion.. reason being- if the monetary award is overturned then they will say it was jehovahs will.

Depends if you're talking about how die-hard JWs, see it or how others see it.

The "Secrecy Policy
by Celestial ini've given this recent lawsuit quite a bit of thought and come to sound conclusions.
after examining other organization's child-protection policies (namely churches), what i've come to realize is there's a one-size fits all solution that's socially acceptable; all information obtained through witnesses and confessions by organizational personnel is be used to aid and abet law-enforcement.
there's no in-between or anything short of this objective that's socially acceptable.

Cofty is so right.
I'd like to add that older teens who were molested even once, 15/16/17 YOs need to be protected and taken seriously. Even if they are not as traumatized as a small child or are using the molestation as blackmail or whatever... need sympathy, not contempt.
Yes, that's a random comment. Sorry. Carry on.

That's one reason why I'm afraid to get a tattoo! Permanent mistake? No thank you.
Bicep is probably the best place. Good luck. Don't pass out from the pain.

marriage without affection/sex/touching
by zeb inyes thats my situation.
some where along the path of life the wt guilt trip was dumped on our marriage and we havent had sex for years.. anyone else?
the hearts and flowers and gifts and doing the cleaning, the house work and paying the daily accounts never being drunk on drugs playing the horses or screwing others yep its all there but nothing coming back due to the wt guilt trip.. they made so much of 'oral sex' and 'pornea' incorrectly quoted at that and ventured thereby into areas they were patently very ill equipped to comment on.

After experiencing "perverted" sex practices, I could never marry a JW anyway. To go back to only missionary, man-on-top would be --- ugh! I never did understand why a group of men are all in a couple's bedroom. If it's consensual, anything goes!
^ This.

If you're not too muscular I'm sure anywhere on the arm would look nice.
Be careful about gettting one on your back though. I read somewhere that as one ages, it can sometimes look pretty bad on the back/chest.
